Hudson’s Light was created in honor of my son, Hudson, with a mission to support families experiencing loss and raise awareness about impaired driving. We are currently in the process of becoming a registered nonprofit.

Purpose:

Hudson’s Light was created in memory of Hudson Antonio Loura to ensure his life continues to shine. We provide support to grieving families, foster connection through shared loss, and create meaningful ways to honor and remember. Through every act of kindness and every life touched, Hudson’s light lives on.

Mission:

Hudson’s Light exists to support families whose lives have been forever changed by infant loss or impaired driving while raising awareness about the devastating consequences of impaired choices. We advocate for stronger accountability laws, including passenger responsibility, because these tragedies are preventable. Through action, awareness, and unwavering purpose, we honor Hudson’s legacy and strive to bring light into even the darkest places.

The story behind the light we carry forward.

It took five years to bring Hudson into our lives.
One reckless decision took him away.

We’re turning grief into action—
to honor his life and protect others.
